Our products and health and safety

Every customer can read information about safe use of our products in electronic form or directly at the point of sale. The companies of the LOTOS Group fulfil the obligation to provide information on the products in accordance with the guidelines arising from the law. For all products manufactured in our companies, Product Information or Material Safety Data Sheets have been developed and are based on applicable international requirements. All of our activities are carried out in accordance with the EU REACH(1) (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) and CLP(2) (classification, labelling and packaging) regulations. For each substance included in the products we offer, we maintain an up-to-date registration documentation. We verify the content of particularly dangerous substances on an ongoing basis.

Our brands:

We make every effort to ensure that our petrol stations gradually become “greener”. 12 electric car charging stations located along motorways A1 and A2 between Warsaw and Gdańsk operate within the network. They form the so-called Blue Trail. In line with the adopted strategy, we intend to increase the number of points to 130 by the end of 2022.

Soon, the Grupa LOTOS will become the first producer of purified hydrogen in Poland and will build two hydrogen refuelling stations. At the end of 2018, a decision was made to subsidise the Pure H2 project using EU funding, i.e. hydrogen purification and distribution installation.

Modernisation that takes care for the environment into account is a subject that is also taken up by LOTOS Lab and LOTOS Kolej. By 2022, two prototypes of shunters with modern hybrid propulsion are to be developed.

We make every effort to ensure that both our business and the products we offer are safe at every stage of the value chain. LOTOS Lab scrupulously examines the semi-finished products, products, components and additives used by us for the production of fuels, oils and asphalts, as well as water used for the production of energy utilities and wastewater.
